Okotoks Raiders Lacrosse Association Volunteer Policy:
Okotoks Raiders Lacrosse Association is a club which is operated solely by volunteers.
To ensure that all aspects of the organization are managed efficiently, every member is asked to contribute to the club via volunteering. Games/on floor volunteering (Score Keeper, Time keeper, shot clock, penalty box, etc) is NOT included in the volunteer bond but is MANDATORY as a member of any team.
Volunteer requirements are calculated on a points system. Each Raiders family, including HOKS, (with a player in U9-U17) is required to complete 100 points per player to a max of 200 points per family.
A volunteer bond form must be signed for $350 per player (max of 2 bonds per family). Registration is not considered complete until the bond form has been received. If a family chooses not to participate or is unable to volunteer they can submit a $350 'non-volunteer' payment at the time of registration. If you do not complete your volunteer requirements you will be charged a $350 'non-volunteer' fee at the end of the season and your account will be locked until payment is received.
