The practice floor times and game floor times have not been determined yet, but as soon as they are scheduled we will post them and email the players and families.

Please note: For the remainder of 2024 Box Lacrosse playing season,  will be a combination of weekday games and weekend games. Due to the high volume of players/teams we are unable to provide a set practice schedule and days/times may vary. discretion.

Evaluations will be scheduled for HOKS Players for the beginning of March and all other evaluations will begin mid March to the beginning of April - they will be emailed to the email on the account on the registration and posted online.

For the 2024 season, players born in 2010-2011 (ages 13, 14) will participate in the U15 program. Players in the U15 program will be placed on teams according to their skill level based on evaluations at the start of the season, depending on the number of registered players.

All players are assessed and evaluated, as U15 is a non-parity division - meaning players are placed on teams with equal or similar skill levels to create a fair and competitive season. (What non-parity means: like-skilled/tiered groupings, U15 Lacrosse for CDLA member teams will be played in tiers A,B,C)

What to expect for U15:

  • Players in all divisions can expect to have practices each week in addition to games.
  • Players can also expect to participate in weekend tournaments. These tournaments are determined by each team.
  • All divisions play in a league and league statistics are used to determine playoff positions. Playoffs are played to determine city champions.
  • U15 is required to wear full gear. Click here to view guidelines, and expectations.

*We will not turn any player away, but if a female player would like to play on a female only team, please reach out to the Fury Lacrosse Association at http://furylacrosse.ca. If you have any questions regarding, please email the registrar at registrar@okotokslacrosse.com. *

A Try Outs / HOKS:

Please note to participate in the 'A' Try Outs, your player must be registered in their division package, and paid their try out fee as well. The fee to try out is $50.00.

Players who are looking for the highest skill level and most competitive environment may attend evaluations for the HOKS A team which combines players from the ORLA, High River, northeast Calgary Knights and possibly the Strathmore area to create a team to compete at the highest skill level against the larger clubs in Calgary. The HOKS team may have practices outside of the Okotoks area to accommodate teams from these other locations and may also play a regular season game as far north as Red Deer as the Red Deer A team plays with the CDLA at this age level.
